Applications

The UV Transiluminator provides ultra-violet emission 312 nm. It can be used for activating the emission of ethidium bromide inserted into the double strand DNA molecules, which have been electrophoretically separated in the agar gel. The fragments of DNA can be localised on the basis of the observation of the shining lines.
